Consulate General of Nepal issues ordinary ePassport for the Nepali natioanls. To apply for an ePassport from this Consulate General, the applicant must be present in person along with the following required documents and fees (mandatory presence is not required for minors under 5 years old):
Required Documents:
- A copy of application form printed after submitting online at https://emrtds.nepalpassport.gov.np/.
- Currently used Passport in the case of normal renewal (Visa pages occupied or validity less than a year).
- Police report provided by the local police in the case of lost of old passport.
- Nepali Citizenship card (clear color photo of two sides if the original card is not available)
- For the minors below 16 years, Minor Identity Card, Passport and Nepali Citizenship Card of father or mother are required.
- Attested Medical Birth Certificate from local Foreign Affairs Office for the first issuance of ePassport to the childs born in China.
- If the minors below 5 years couldn"t present at the consulate, two copies of clear photographs having white background and with both eyes and ears visible are required.
